What a Con! It’s the old “believe me and not your lying eyes “ narrative. It’s ludicrous to assume and insane to promote the lie that the Mullahs don’t want and haven’t been assembling the materials and machinery for nukes for decades. They know that possessing nuclear tipped ballistic missiles is THE only guarantee that their regime survives. They are and were right and but for the ruthless Trump they were close to being able to ASSEMBLE that weapon in short order; and when they did they would then be protected via the MAD deterrent narrative.
It is simplistic and laughable to even offer what is really just a spin on words like *wasn’t* while they build stock piles that could be assembled real quick when it was time to make their MAD declaration.

We falling into the same perpetual external boogeyman trap. Some say China, some say Russia, some say Israel, etc. As a whole, we seem to want to believe our country has been going downhill for several decades due to foreign interference. Because the most likely alternative is something no one wants to accept.
The most likely alternative is, Americans are responsible for America decaying. We are the most powerful nation to ever exist in the history of human civilization. If power alone was used to gauge countries, then we'd be the only first world country in the world. DC is used as a gigantic piggy bank by Americans who are politicians or gov employees who move up the ladder. You can try to blame external boogeymen for utilizing that greed and getting DC to essentially move in the direction they want. But as long as DC is for sell, there will always be someone willing to pay. If DC ever becomes a true representative of all the united states, then there would be no "external boogeymen".

To say that there is literally, quantitatively zero angle(s) of the entire thing having to do with China, as big a factor as China is world affairs and specifically affecting America, is simply outright obtuse. Did you expect that every single aspect of their thinking and conceptualizing on this was going to clearly conveyed to you?

Well the problem is that there just isn’t much precedence when it comes to these intelligence community guys lying through their teeth. So it’s hard to believe they’d cross that red line now. Know what I mean? There’s just no history of it happening.
