Geographically Maine is way more Red than Blue, the leftist of Portland decide the vote unfortunately. Their melting pot there is starting to boil over with predictable results, maybe a few of them will wake up at some point.

I don't like it, but you just have to give her a pass on the hot button leftist issues she votes in favor of. She has to do that to keep her seat, and the reality is that once she's gone there likely won't be a GOP senator out of Maine again anytime soon. A "moderate" Senator from Maine who votes with the GOP 70% of the time is better than a leftist from Maine who never does.
