When state and local officials fail to protect citizens (actually promote lawlessness) then the federal level steps in to bring back law and order.

In Chicago? YES - There are 100,000s of gang members that want to kill and destroy normal everyday society - Would I agree federalizing/nationalizing police in a safe city? Probably not.
One of these days, some of you dumbasses will realize that we are at war in some of these Communist cities. Sorry but rules should not apply when our major cities are being infested with terrorists from 3rd world countries. It's not very normal that something like this happens everyday to our country, but here we are.

Set up a fake Russiagate investigation under Mueller.
Falsified documents to obtain FISA warrants four times illegally to spy on the Trump campaign, transition team, and presidency.

Assassination attempts twice.

Raided Mar a Lago without a predicate and planted evidence.
I could go on but it’s Christmas Eve.
Marines in Chicago will save lives and property. Demorat officeholders don’t care about the poor and their minorities. They only care about themselves and power.
Citizens deserve to live in a city that is safe for all. When elected officials don’t protect and serve their constituents, then extreme measures are necessary.

The difference is the left would want to use it (fed police power / insurrection act etc…) to oppress Americans by confiscating guns from law abiding citizens, enforce Covid type curfews, rules / camps, enforce social media censorship like in the UK etc to actually be a jackboot secret police stasi like action in order to prop up their grip on power.
Whereas the use in this case when the right has the ball is simply to conduct patrols in high crime areas I.e. the hood where gang members are slaughtering civilians and each other every weekend, to protect ICE while they conduct their lawful deportations of illegal aliens, and to disperse violent riots like during the summer of love in 2020 if necessary.
