Mandatory govt enforced paid sick leave would just mean those people companies were forced to give it to that weren't getting it would either get less in something else or there would just be fewer of them.

Screw that shite.

Just because people dont agree with you doesnt mean they want to or should leave the US. That is what is great about this country. Debate, compromise, different ideas, etc. if you dont like that, maybe you ought to move to China or Cuba.

Yea thank God no one ever forced companies to provide more benefits for the workers. Because unfettered Capitalism always does the right things.

Lol. Lets go through History and see what happens when someone isnt looking out for people' s health and life quality: Child labor, 6-7 days work weeks, 70 hour work weeks, Slavery, etc. People take advantage of people at the drop of the hat. Yea, you can say "well, just go get a different job or move or the offending company will eventually go out fo business" due to the pefection of Capitalism. But that isnt the always the case and the Government has had to step in and say No more.

Ebola infected people aren't worried about time missed from work, or sick leave....I don't even know what to say in these threads anymore. People are just dumb, and its everywhere...We have officially dumbed America down so low, I doubt we'll survive for long...

I'm guessing you forgot to add in "government mandated?" Bc best believe I will have sick leave when I get my big boy job.

They love to use their holiday leave which is about a month all year. Two weeks in the summer and the rest when ever.

Actually getting benefits was something capitalism brought about to compete for the best labor, so there's that.
