5,000 less jobs than in Feb. I saw somewhere a couple of days ago that the govt. had predicted about 215,000 (give or take) jobs would be created for March.

Govt math under this admin:
1 ft job lost to two pt jobs started equals a net job gain

Unemployment claims were up to 365,000 (believe that was the number) for last month. So, unemployment is up, employment is down from Feb. but overall unemployment number stays the same.
No wonder people have trouble with math.

If you are talking about the weekly new unemployment numbers, it was +15k to 325 or something similar.
btw, what happened to the claims that we need 250k jobs added a month to make a dent in unemployment

For March the numbers, (192,000) equal out to 120 jobs per day per state. That doesn't sound like a lot to be enthused about.

The unemployment no. is BS since it does not count millions of people who are no longer considered part of the workforce. All that matters is how many people are employed and that number has declined by many millions during the Obama admin. LINK
"Bureau of Labor Statistics data shows an unmistakable decline in the Labor Force Participation Rate under President Obama. The rate dropped from 65.7% in January 2009 to 63.6% in September 2012. The chart below depicts the decline during President Obama’s time in office, and it demonstrates that the job situation became worse under his leadership."

i agree the game is rigged but the jobs number and unemployment number come from two different surveys. It makes sense they would not be the same.

Yeah Unc, they used that excuse, rightfully so probably, for Jan/Feb but for a month of 31 days instead of twenty eight with 5,000 less hired, that excuse don't hold with me. They haven't used that excuse for March yet but the day is young.

Does anyone believe any number the gov't produces? Seriously. Have they ever been right?
