i'm not misunderstanding anything. someone asked why they keep removing all of these confederate memorials and i said "because frick you". that is the reasoning behind the leftists continuing to do this. it's a "frick you" to conservatives and they do it just because they know it pisses us off and because they know they can get away with it.
I and some others did not understand your sentiment. It came off as "you telling him Frick You". I understand now.

Why can't the federal government leave our Confederate history alone? Because that's all it is. History! Wonder why the progressive wing of the federal government still fear the Confederate States some 158 years later? Interesting.
IDK maybe because they were traitors who killed hundreds of thousands of Americans just so they could keep slaves? I know you pine for the days of slavery but I do fear going back to a time like that

You do realize that the federal government pardoned all former Confederates after the war who swore an oath of allegiance to the government?
Calling the former soldiers “traitors” is simply wrong.

I think they're getting around the grave issue by removing the monument but leaving the base.
Oh for fcks sake, why not just toss his bones out to bleach in the sun.
For that matter, what about separation of church and state, remove ALL the grave markers in Arlington.
Or, why cant we use recent seizure judgements as precedent and let the descendants of RE Lee have their homestead back.
Alot of things happened in this country in the past, you can pick and chose what you want to erase "by committee"/policy/or commission.

The left has never allowed the dead to rest in peace. They make them vote in every election too.

They were given unconditional pardons for acts of treason. However, a pardon restores a person to the full status they occupied before an offense was committed. You called the former Confederates traitors, which again, is factually and legally incorrect, since the government issued them unconditional pardons.

The United Daughters of the Confederacy commissioned this bronze memorial to the Confederate soldiers and sailors buried at Arlington National Cemetery. The sculptor Moses Jacob Ezekiel, who fought alongside his fellow cadets from the Virginia Military Institute at the Battle of New Market in 1864, designed and executed the memorial. President Woodrow Wilson unveiled the statue on June 4, 1914, the anniversary of the birth of Jefferson Davis, who served as the president of the Confederate States of America.

This is the best news I've heard since the vaccine mandates were lifted.

I thought there was a federal law against removal (at least stated on the earlier thread
Is that not the law? Otherwise why rely on just disturbing remains?

I’m good and understand what you’re saying. And it is a big frick you to former Confederate States and they get away with it because ever since reconstruction, the federal government has made sure that we are forever enslaved to them with federal dollars.
