US wants Iran to not have nukes
Israel wants Iran eliminated
I understand why Israel has that objective.
But for this very reason, we can’t be tied to them.

A bit of semantics at play here. But both the US and israel would like iran eliminated, and Persia to rise.

Absolutely not true. Israel has had to fight for its existence since day 1. They have been attacked on their holy days and had innocent people, including babies, murdered just because Muslims want Israel wiped off the face of the Earth. Over there it's kill or be killed. Be thankful you don't have to live like that.
