quote:I also think there is an issue with interpreting “mail voting” with early voting.
Historically, in most states, the Dems outperform the Reps in early voting. You need to look at the history of each state to help determine how things are looking this election.
For example, for Florida in 2016 Rs had 58,244 more early votes by mail than Ds, but they trailed by 155,000 in early voting.

Is republicans have half the votes in Michigan and James loses then that state is shade or dumb as hell.
A lot of states with good percentages of Republicans voting . Hopefully we can improve on those numbers and get a red wave . It looks like they will call North Dakota as soon as they start counting votes.

Colorado is lost forever voting a Republican majority. It has been over run by the same voters who ruined California.

quote:I'm not. 320,000 voted by mail (returned), 208,000 voted early, and 384,000 have not returned a ballot but we're provided a vote-by-mail ballot. And wouldn't only 7% in a swing state seem awfully low anyways considering a third of nation (and rising) doesn't identify with the two major parties?

What data source are you using using? Florida's election site is pretty awesome, and you can even request specific demos as they update (race, sex, etc). I started following a professor from Florida in 2016 because he would update the disaggregated data as he processed it.

I want Michigan so bad.
I think James look like an amazing candidate and I will honestly be bummed out if he loses.

Do Wisconsin and Michigan normally vote Republican in midterms?
Posted on 10/30/18 at 9:23 pm to buckeye_vol
Independents currently account for around 24% of the votes in FL.
