I find it a little funny, I have a former co-worker that moved out there a few years ago. Back in July, it was a bunch of FB posts

Just yesterday: "I'm worried, we have to clean off trash and spray paint almost every morning, fires are burning less than 1 block from here. There are fights and violence weekly across the street. And now the air is filled with smoke and forest fires rage on the outskirts of town. Please pray for our safety"

Not surprised the week before we moved out of California arsonists set the hill by my house on fire. We almost had to evacuate.
It was just after all the protesting, so I'm guessing it was antifa or BLM who set the blazes. I never heard who was arrested.

If ANTIFA thought it would be a good idea to poison a random water supply in a red state, would anybody really be surprised ? These people are criminal sociopaths. So while we can't assume they are setting fires, it certainly wouldn't surprise us.
