I was spitballing as I typed. I used LOGICAL to cue Sheldon in that his conclusion won't be logical either.

Y’all really need to stop saying shite like this. For starters, he was an Echo, not a Charlie, so any demo training he might have had would have been tangential. Few SF (hell, SOF in general) dudes are 1-man army types.

I’ve worked along a LOT of 18s/former 18s over the years. Echos are an odd bunch to begin with. They’re usually really fricking smart, often on the spectrum, and it doesn’t help that their brains get microwaved for many years.

I’m not saying anything as an absolute, but it would surprise absolutely nobody who’s in the loop on this stuff if he was just off his rocker.

I love people, i really do.

Somehow, the government, is going to personally monitor 365,000,000 people.

The fact anyone can say this besides Donald Trump or someone of that ilk, is so narcissistic.

Very few people are that important and even less are important enough for an agency to even "monitor" you.

Its makes me laugh.

And would that demo training teach him that a can of gasoline and a few fireworks would be enough to do anything more than muss up the paint on a high rise?

Apparently confirmed by Tesla that Cybertruck was not in self driving mode.

In other words, if you drive a Tesla, everything you do is being monitored.

Which press conference?

LVPD press conference. Sorry for the confusion.

They had lots of video of him charging Tesla and driving around, even parking. Showed parts of charred body/tattoos, pics of phone, wallet, etc.

Thought it was an elite release of information but I could just be used to watching the NOLA press conferences the past 48 hours.

HME has gotten pretty common overseas, and certain jobs, whether EOD, SOF, MP etc, get a decent amount of exposure to the know-how. I'm a bit skeptical that this guy intended to do much damage.

Well, you should re-think this. The average person's life, iirc, can be captured in about 2GB. All your phone records, texts, academic reports, computer history, medical, etc. The federal govt is capturing petabytes of data every day. A petabyte is one million GBs.

They vacuum up everything. In the past they had to filter and target specific items. My understanding is that capability quickly progressed to capture, hold everything, filter, discard things that don't seem usable or needing further scrutiny. This was on a pretty short loop. That has likely progressed to just capture and hold for a long period of time.

We live in a surveillance state. That means all of us, not just a few people.

Both things can be true. Shawn Ryan earns his living off his podcast AND is a sincere dude who loves his country. While being truthful to himself and the American public, he's doing so in a business positive manner that pays his bills.

I don't believe Shawn Ryan is in it just for the clicks, but the clicks enable him to pay the bills and continue providing information.

I don't see the problem.

No idea what you’re trying to ask or imply. I replied to the assertion that because he was SF, he could have gone bigger if he wanted to. That’s simply not the case. Maybe yes, most likely not yes.

Serious shite. These guys in no way come across as tin foil hat guys. Scary to hear that 2025 may be a bloody year. Our government has failed us in so many ways. We really need a wholesale change in the federal government. Not sure if Trump and one term will really take the teeth out of all the terrorism that may be headed our way.

Scary shite!

Yeah, that could all be true, and what the guy said above about him not necessarily knowing much about explosives could also be true, but the "bomb" is just one turd in a big stinky pile that doesn't add up.

Im in agreement here.

And will take the flak on it.

This doesn’t pass the smell test. Could bits and pieces be true? Absolutely. Which bits are and are not? I havent a clue. Certainly something fricky with the vegas green beret situation. But still feels like we’re missing info.

The anti-gravity drones did it for me.

One thing about the email that didn't make sense was saying the drones have unlimited payload. I'm curious what was meant by that.

It's a conspiracy theorist's dream, but the answer is usually the easy one.
Green Beret at the end of his career on his 2nd failed marriage.
finances probably completely fricked.
Home at Christmas alone, find out his kid isn't his.
drives around the desert reaching out to his ex-girlfriend and outlets.
It's ignored
Not like he planned this out like he's some genius.
Look at the suicides from GBs between 35-44 at the end of their careers. Its almost textbook.
