If the murder killed because he is mentally ill and he should not be free. Are they saying prison helped his mental illness?

Why is this even an option? Why was he only given 16 years in the first place?

I can't blame him for wanting to win the Gary Plauche father of the year award.

It's tough to be as gracious as Erika Kirk.

I truly admire her ability to forgive

I don't have that ability to do that for a crime as horrendous as murder

Very progressive’s wet dream here. Young white kid killed, no harsh sentences, now you can jail the victim’s family if they handle justice themselves

cowardly judhes and courts could easily take care of this star chamber style.

if they don't we will start seeing more and more vigilante justice paul kersey style.

and not just on criminals. these judges if they keep releasing animals will be on the shite list also. oh well. reap what you sow.

Just because you can forgive the person doesn’t mean you can’t also believe the person should face consequences for the crime

The boy’s father says, “I’ve had my talks with God… I told the court if I ever cross paths with him, I will k*ll the man — I will k*ll him where he stands.”

My pastor and I had lunch one day and the hypothetical subject came up. He said almost the same thing as this father said, and then said “I know where to find grace.”

Honestly, I think any man is a failure as a parent and a human who wouldn’t kill the person who maliciously killed his child.

That piece of shite kid killer and anyone that had a hand in his light sentence and early release deserve the same fate.

I totally get his feelings. But, he shouldn't tell the world what he is thinking. Some things are better not spoken.

How in the world can a man who killed that sweet looking kid, and stab the rest of a family, only be sentenced to 18 years and only serve 8?! Where is the justice.

He’s likely beyond caring about any repercussions if he does it.

I would encourage him to think about leaving the rest of his family without a father.

I support this father 100%.

If you hurt one of my kids, kill them, and the system doesn't see fit to end your existence in reciprocity, I will do it myself. And it's not going to be some "if I see you" scenario.

I will actively stalk you legally in every way possible and learn your routines, habits and mannerisms. I will know your favorite food, your bowel movement schedule, what kind of toothpaste you use and the name of your third-grade teacher. And then, one day when you aren't expecting it at all, the last thing you will see is the hatred in my eyes as it expires with your life force.

I'm generally a very peaceful person and try my best to be a live-and-let-live person, but if you hurt my kids, I don't know if I would even try to fight the demons. Don't frick with my kids.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that anyone thinks 10 years served for viciously killing a small child is justice.

WTF?

That trial was a fricking joke. Two witch attorneys that made up a story about him binge watching Grays Anatomy and being insane at the time of murder.

The pos drove from Indianapolis down I-65 through a massive bridge construction in Louisville then got on I-64 90 miles and got off on US 60 and turned down Douglass Avenue in Versailles to Gray Street, saw a yard full of toys and went in the house and murdered a little boy. He knew what the hell he was doing.

Everyone in Woodford County is angry about this still. My family marched against the verdict but at least we thought he’d be in jail 20 years.

Whoever let this bastard loose needs to be hanged.
