A white applicant with perfect test scores, an excellent essay, national level leadership and achievement would score less than a minority applicant from a rural county.

It’s so damned condescending to suggest African Americans need affirmative action-type admission standards in order to succeed.
Blows my mind that more AAs don’t unequivocally decry this Civil Rights era, antiquated policy.
