Calling bullshite. I belong to one of those and we've successfully dominated market share in a state that hates unions.

I'm talking about how these guys always have had to carry the weight of their loafer "brothers." I've heard it since the early 1980s including my dad and best friend so you can shove your "bullshite" right up your arse.

Man, it'd probably hurt your feelings to find out who donates to republicans.

You know how many union members want work, faith, and family? Attacking me isn’t the answer. You should see the Democratic Party doesn’t have a hold on Americans because of how they get work.

While it’s a little bit of an over generalization, Republicans have been more unfavorable to organized labor of the two parties, but may be more inline with other values that union members hold outside of labor issues.

For years, I’ve hoped that a party would rise that truly combined both.

Stopped listening when you said you’re a union member.

Brah! There is a HUGE difference between trade unions and service unions. I, for one, really like having union electricians who have gone through a prescribed apprenticeship on my jobsites. They KNOW what they are doing and they are meticulous about it. That meticulous care rubs off on the other trades and makes everyone strive to turn out a solid project.

I'm not gonna bash a trade union.

You're the "little man" fighting the "fat cats" right? Same propaganda for decades. When stuck in the shop on the lists, union leadership still getting paid great wages. Take a job longer than 80 hours, drop to the bottom of the list.

Actually, it would be the shareholders that
would bear the brunt. Businesses always
charge what the market will bear. At least the workers will spend their wages primarily
in the local community.

Here’s the biggest part.. We can’t win AI with Wind and solar. We can’t end coal! We have to build back America with American workers! That’s union and non union workers. American workers. Can we be honest no one cares about Ukraine What we all should care about is American production. I made more because in my line of work companies were investing! It’s been 4 years and all the plans except for buccees ( non union) was actually built.

Well said!

Most of the clowns that bash trade unions have never seen a real journeyman work.

And what's the problem with that? Everybody gets a chance to work. If you do well enough somebody will try to keep you employed.

I think you are 100% correct in that assessment. I was very much a union basher until I started running large construction projects and seeing exactly what a journeyman electrician or welder could do and how much real knowledge they had. I've seen journeymen provide solutions to issues that had the design engineers stumped. I changed my song when I saw the truth and the benefit of it.

Journeymen earn every dime of their pay!

That's just part of the deal, and we know that. I took a short term job last year and worked hard. Ended up moving to a different site with that shop and working 4 months extra.

While I understand that, they haven’t attacked my family, my home, my rights, my livelihood.

Everything is under attack. Look at the state of Washington. Will she over 4 to 8 years force the liberal agenda across the country ? 1st amendment free speech will end? 2nd amendment? Will we make more outsourcing labor to illegal immigrants for cheap labor?
