Unilever will drop the word "normal" from its beauty products and ban excessive editing of models' photos in a push for inclusivity.

Dove's owner said the editing ban would apply to "body shape, size, proportion and skin colour" and "normal" would be removed from 200 products.

Its boss said it wanted to create a "more inclusive definition of beauty".

The firm has previously faced allegations that it promoted stereotypes around dark skin tones.

This ^^^^^ is a sign of real progress.

Hey, I will no longer use Unilever so we have that in common. We're both doing things we didn't do before.

No need to use the word "normal" if you use "abnormal" when appropriate.

To include everyone, they will include no one.

Only time I've ever heard of it was dry/normal/oily for skin and hair.

So, if I am their competitor I say, this is what Unilever products do to you. They make you abnormal.

If a competing company had a sharp marketer that was looking for weakness from Unilever they have an opening now...lol!

Be prepared to see a lot more fatties and uglies pushed as "beautiful" in upcoming advertisements.
