The good news from VA was not who was elected but that there were enough people who voted 'against' McAullife. The bathroom rape was a major factor.

It's still Virginia. Red in Virginia is going to be nothing like red in Alabama. Its just reality.
Same thing for blues. The blues in California are from another planet compared to the blues in Michigan.
And as long as he's not being fascist about his pronouns let it be. If he was that deep into the ideology there's no way he'd have ever taken picture with Youngkin like that.

Rural people are largely the same. Upper class culture is different. The old South vs the Deep South.
The biggest difference are the Republican voting transplants, with self declared sensible opinions.
They have no courage.

I didn't expect Youngkin to be DeSantis or Kim Reynolds. But if he could maybe be close to a Kristi Noem or Tate Reeves, that would be pretty good for VA. This is just reality. I like the LT Governor better, maybe she can run in 2025, since VA governors are all one term.

As someone who lives in Virginia, even if he is a RINO, it is a step in the right direction. I’m expecting Youngkin to be like the Maryland Governor, Hogan.
However, hopefully the momentum will flip the Congress.
