Mark Geragos may have given Chris Brown and others a constitutionally guaranteed right to defense but it doesn’t mean I would want him elected to dogcatcher.

Are there really that many posters running to defend the pedo or has Mother Russia decided to put all their support behind Moore?

So your boy Jones pulled a Hillary and you think he is a moral authority now?

I find it hilarious that you and bamarep were throwing a victory parade over this.

If a client is so reprehensible that no lawyer is voluntarily taking their case they would get a court appointed defense attorney. Since you are also morally retarded I don't expect you to understand the distinction.
Defending a client doesn't make a lawyer morally bankrupt. Everyone is entitled to legal representation. It's called the Constitution.

This senate race may set the record for the lowest turnout percentage in modern American electoral history. Which works out in Moore's favor
Yeah, the side of my family who lives in Alabama refuses to vote.

Sounds like Jones was doing his job
And he wasnt disbarred? "Judge" Roy Moore could show him a thing or two about competently doing a job in the legal profession.

So she did what every other college student does?
Her personal decisions aren't the schools responsibility. They are hers and the students she associated with who shouldn't have been doing those things with a 15 yr old

If this is all the dirt that can be dug up on Doug Jones then I think it's safe to say he's in good shape.

Jones owns this and "just doing my job" doesn't fly. It doesn't work when a stripper runs for office..

Never heard of this story until now. That's some fricked up shite. Sad.

Jesus, no. This was a civil case. Jones agreed to be paid by the hour to defend a civil claim, not a criminal case. He could have said "No" but chose not to. Obviously he felt much more strongly about the money than he did about believing every allegation a female makes, you know, like he does now.

Yeah...I don't get the issue here.
I mean, attorney's suck arse....until YOU need one. Then, you want that person to be a very zealous advocate for your position. The adversarial system works pretty well.
I am not "for" Roy Moore. But, I think some of the stuff hurled at him stinks. I, certainly, am not "for" Doug Jones. But, I find the idea that he did his job enthusiastically is a "problem" seems misguided and desperate.

Which would mean it is on par with CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Huff Post, Washington Post.
