Well of course he’s going to eat. Now let’s get the irrelevant people out of the way and discuss how this comment made by Cassidy will affect his run for governor…who benefits?

Cassidy plan to get elected governor revolves around him being the most palatable Republican choice for Democrats.
He voted to convict Trump and all that bullshite.
With this one statement he completely killed his own strategy.

That was my thinking as well, but are we overreacting? This quote isn’t quite the Jimmy the Greek-type. But it’s not a good thing for Cassy.

I don’t like Cassidy, but I don’t know why this is a big deal. All he is saying is that if you look at mortality across racial groups nationally and adjust Louisiana according to racial averages, Louisiana is close to normal for the US. Much ado about nothing.
