"UFOs" Over the Skies of Tehran?

There are several of these videos circulating out there right now, so the footage appears legitimate. Naturally a lot of people are claiming these are "UFOs" and whatever it is is pretty wild.

A big chunky object with flashing color lights doesnt seem high tech unless it is invincible.

It looks quite large to be a balloon or a kite. Even if so (which I highly doubt as it would just be shot out of the sky even with small arms fire) the bright lights are indeed a clear indicator that the manufacturer hopes it is seen.

I can tell you it's not aliens.
They wouldn't be putting lights in the sky if it's aliens. There is no reason to do so. It just makes you an easier target.
They will observe from a distance, you will never see them.
If they needed to come to earth for something, some secret meeting or something like that, they'll go in and out as quietly as possible.
If they want to communicate and let people know they are here, they can easily just hack into our satellites and send a message.
There is no reason to sit in the middle of a farmers field, hover over an area or any other such things. I'm supposed to believe aliens will come all that distance, spend 15 minutes in a farmers field, or flying over Tehran and then leave?
