I don’t know if I did or not, but the criticism of Erica Kirk was unhinged, and it was widely treated that way on this board. The attacks on Macron’s wife and Obama’s wife are upvoted and echoed way more than they are opposed. And to be clear, I’m not talking about criticisms of their noxious views, which are called for; I’m only talking about the reprehensible, sophomoric attacks about their genders. That is particularly cruel in a way that’s very similar to the accusations that Erica Kirk was somehow involved in her husband’s demise. Fortunately, the latter case had many critics here on the rant.

No. My political orientation is clearly conservative, and I am white. I did not feel the need to defend Erica Kirk on this website because she was more than adequately defended. Had I been on reddit I would have knighted for Erica Kirk and ignored the vastly outnumbered weirdos who bullied Michelle Obama or Mrs. Macron.
