I know, right? The topic keeps coming up. Pretty wild to think that the Government is now demanding its employees tell them what they know about UFOs. How did we ever get to that point anyways? That there is a topic - any topic - that our leaders need briefings from their subordinates on? That the POTUS has to issue a Presidential Directive in order to force bureaucrats to brief elected officials?
Even if you aren't interested in the topic itself, it's a sad state of affairs that they have to go to these sorts of lengths to bring information to light - on any subject.

As said earlier, it is simply a distraction from our continued presence in the Middle East, high inflation, unsustainable debt, and all of the other BS that our government has burdened us with.

Exactly. Like I said, they're grasping at straws when they say this. This "distraction" nonsense they keep rolling out hasn't distracted anyone from shite. The media doesn't cover it nearly as much as the myriad of ridiculous stories that we hear every day. Media coverage is nearly non-existent and when we do see it it's only briefly following after a periodic Friday news dump.
