Simple enough Louisiana should implement a ban on all rail & air travel to Texas both commercial & passenger. I'm sure that will contain the spread.

Neither Tx or La have the ability to stop interstate commerce, generally speaking. They have no real ability to stop humans from crossing the borders nor having to comply with EOs.

Its threats and fear, instead of law.

I mean the order doesn't make sense, exactly how does a person from another State self-quarantine... what does that even mean?

They might be well-advised to keep those law-men in place all the time to maintain this restriction.

It amazes me how these politicians are willing to suspend our rights because of the Wuhan Flu.

Anyone know how they plan to collect data to enforce this? Will they be doing checkpoints at the border? I can’t imagine they would check every vehicle entering the state considering the supply chain implications vis a vis OTR carriers.

Texas sits on its arse for generations while watching it’s domestic population be replaced by Mexicans and sit on their thumbs while entire cities are basically transformed into Mexican territories with every sign written in Spanish and they want to put up some kind of fight to keep some fellow American from Louisiana coming across their border to go turkey hunting. Where was this kind of a fight when entire populations were replaced to where you can’t order a Big Mac in El Paso if you can’t speak Spanish?

Texas was filled with Mexicans long before it was filled with Tejanos.

And here Ladies and Gentlemen is exhibit A as to why you can’t order a Big Mac in El Paso if you don’t speak Spanish. This is why you have to pay for both public schools while also paying for private schools for your kids to go to so they can learn without being targeted for their ethnicity and why Texas will not be the place you all remember and know a generation from now. This is the attitude that has allowed the takeover of a great American state by foreigners. One crossing at a time. But hell, it’s ok. There has always been Mexicans in Texas, what’s a few million more? The real problem is those coonasses. I think I know the answer. Mexicans don’t kick Texas arse in sports.

Come to southwest Houston and see all of signs written in Chinese and Vietnamese.... even the areas in SW Houston that have all Mexicans living there have no signs in Spanish.

Umm El Paso and the rest of the border area has always been that way.

You know, because it is a border region.

I feel like Louisiana, of all places should be sympathetic to people wanting to hang on to their historic culture. You know, the the feds almost singlehandedly destroying Cajun French last century.

Geez.
Breathe.
I didn’t say it was good or bad; it’s a fact.
Why the tirade?

I think some of y’all have spent far too long on the Internet.
You’re either misunderstanding or losing touch.
Peace.
