Shock value? It’s just a choice, right? Simple healthcare. Why would that be shocking? Anyone who cares about women’s rights shouldn’t be shocked by seeing them utilized. Just a clump of cells I’m told. Basically like getting a mole removed. Nothing to see here. “Shock value”. Strange choice of words.

I sure in the frick ain’t defending pro choice or pro abortion shite bags. In other words, I ain’t defending a liberal. Abortion is murder. End of story.

I just hope the antithesis of the movie is made. It could also be called "unplanned".
A teen from a trailer park gets pregnant and has no option but to carry the baby for 9 months and then give birth to a baby boy she doesn't want completely on the taxpayer's dime. Then show how the mom gets a section 8 apartment because she now has a "family". The story follows the child through gradeschool all the while the mom exists on welfare. Being from the dregs of society, the now teen boy with an alcoholic mother drops out of highschool after several suspensions because he didn't have a father in his life. A few years of couch surfing he finds himself homeless and addicted to drugs. Desperate for a fix, he robs a gas station. Now he is in jail all on the taxpayer's dime. After 8 years he gets out of jail. Unable to cope with life on the outside he takes his own life. Oh, and when he was 19 he fathered a child and cycle started over again.
Abortion is smart. You people who want unwanted children in the world are dumb and irrational.
But I guess the teen could've just practiced abstinence in the first place like Jesus wanted her to because that works.

You’re a damn good fella for acknowledging that this movie is saving lives. Would never have pegged you for the anti abortionist, Ebb.

Sure it did unless you don't believe that there are any people who don't know the savagery of abortion.
Taking snips to human flesh is shocking to sane people.

Are you really trying to claim that abortions are performed to protect lives?
Maybe a former Surgeon General, a doctor from Planned Parenthood, and a biologist that specialized in fertilization just don't know as much as you.
quote:
While he was United States Surgeon General, Dr. C. Everett Koop stated publicly, "Protection of the life of the mother as an excuse for an abortion is a smoke screen. In my 36 years of pediatric surgery, I have never known of one instance where the child had to be aborted to save the mother's life. If toward the end of the pregnancy complications arise that threaten the mother's health, the doctor will induce labor or perform a Caesarean section. His intention is to save the life of both the mother and the baby. The baby's life is never willfully destroyed because the mother's life is in danger."
Due to significant medical advances, the danger of pregnancy to the mother has declined considerably since 1967. Yet even at that time Dr. Alan Guttmacher of Planned Parenthood acknowledged:
"Today it is possible for almost any patient to be brought through pregnancy alive, unless she suffers from a fatal illness such as cancer or leukemia, and, if so, abortion would be unlikely to prolong, much less save, life."
Dr. Landrum Shettles says that:
"Less than 1 percent of all abortions are performed to save the mother’s life."

I don’t think this movie is necessarily designed to make ardent pro choice people suddenly become pro life, I think it’s probably more targeted towards people who lean pro life but don’t care enough to argue the point. There are waayyyyg more people who lean pro life that could become ardent pro life defenders if they saw the reality of it presented in a movie like this. I know so many people who are personally pro life but don’t care enough to defend pro life activism

At least that boy was given the choice to make something of his life or be a pos. Millions every year are not.
With every story of failure there are the same stories of success. Who knows, that aborted baby could be the one who cures cancer or becomes president. Who are we to play God and snuff that life out before it's even given a chance.

Anybody with common sense knows why abortions are performed, this saving the life of the mother bullshite is just the talking point simple minded people absorbed because they were told to

Allowing 13 year olds to be able to get abortions on demand without parental consent is protecting lives in exactly what way? Sure not protecting the lives of the babies they are killing, now are they?

If people are seeing it it is mostly because Fox and Glen Beck have iadvertised it and through word of mouth.
Most everyone else has refused to allow it to be advertised on their networks or channels.
The Hollywood Reporter
With me and Mrs Misanthrope the filmmaker is preaching to the choir but it was profoundly disturbing nonetheless. I have said for many years that the abortion industry exists for profit and human parts and the movie substantiates that opinion.
We found the movie very non-judgmental and compassionate recognizing the hard places women considering abortions find themselves and rightly takes to task and marginalizes the scream in your face/baby killer abortion protesters.
Planned Parenthood has put tons of pressure on the media to suppress and censor this film for good reason. It shows who they are, how they think, and how they operate.

Lifetime, for example, told the film’s marketers that they declined to air the commercial due to the “sensitive nature of the film,” the ad buyers tell The Hollywood Reporter. The marketers though, note that the network — which is owned by A&E Networks, a joint venture of Walt Disney and Hearst Communications — previously promoted an interview with Scarlett Johansson where she pitches Planned Parenthood.

Put your reputation as a reasonable, rational, free thinking liberal on the line. Go see the movie and then post a reflexive, callous, uninformed, biased knee-jerk comment.
Give me 48 hour notice, tell me what showing and where specifically and I'll have a paid ticket waiting for you earmarked for Mr. Ebbandflow. My treat.
