I carry 17 plus a 16 round magazine. I bet it wouldn’t have taken all of them to get their attention.

I used to think carrying my handgun was enough, but shite like this has me adding an AR pistol to my vehicle EDC

I carry my AR short barrel in a tote bag with my clothes when I go out of town. I prop it against the console when driving through rough areas.

My truck would have been banged up, weapon empty and been sitting in jail later that evening but, I would have gotten out of that situation intact.

The first shot you fired would likely have been the last. He was surrounded from every direction. Those aluminum body panels would not have stopped the rounds returned. Best thing to do is keep the gun on the seat, keep the mouth shut, take the dents from the pounding and drive on. That was not the time to pull the gun out and start waving it.

Thought you said he was stuck. Wouldn't have been any pounding or dents if he just stayed inside the truck and waited it out.
