Abraham Williams, a Hawaii cinematographer married to Gabbard for 11 years, came through the procedure well on Tuesday, as confirmed by her father, Hawaii State Senator Mike Gabbard.
Gabbard, who recently resigned as Director of National Intelligence effective June 30 to care for him full-time, spoke of feeling surrounded by aloha—love and compassion—during this ordeal.
President Trump praised her service and Williams' recovery prospects, while supporters filled social media with prayers, Bible verses, and hopeful messages. More treatment lies ahead, but the family and fans expressed deep gratitude for the positive step.

Sarcoma is a very harsh cancer to treat and usually occurs in long bones so partial amputation is a distinct possibility

I thought a bunch of hit pieces would come out about that and they still might. But, all we have so far is Reuters said that day (anonymous source, of course) that she was forced out, and Loomer called it two days before and said it would be for political reasons.
