If I had to pick a good opponent fro Trump to win against, I think she would be the best one.

Veteran, strong policies, good chance of holding or splitting the liberatarian vote. Can easily leverage the progressive vote.

I think she would give the President a good challenge. I'm not saying she is guaranteed to win, but I think with the right running mate who can appeal to Michigan/Ohio she can do very well.

If she somehow won the nomination, her own party would run a 3rd party nominee. The establishment is more afraid of anti-war candidate than anything else.

You of all people. I was hoping you would chime in.

I'm afraid of that happening. She actually has a competitive advantage in some aspects over Trump. I just dont see a Kamala vs Trump being anything but a bloodbath.

The Democrats need more than just virtue signaling to work. And Kamal record as a prosecutor will hurt her more than Trump ever could.

Nope. Her party is the party of extremism- and we are seeing the proof unfold before our very eyes- more than ever before.

Not no, but hell no.

Shes the most tolerable of the Democratic regime other than Biden.

I like Tulsi. I disagree with her on a host of issues, but I love her general opposition to war and state surveillance. I think her getting the nomination would actually push Trump closer to Rand Paul and his father in terms of foreign policy and civil liberties, for fear of losing some of this demographic in the general. This would be a good thing imo.

I've seen this alot, but why?

She meets all the progressive checks

Woman.
Indian (not completely white)
Educated
Generally agreed with most leftist policies.

She changed her stance on homosexuality, but that's a drop in the bucket compared to the skeleton of most Democrats.

Nobody in the Democratic party will ever win the South. That's a pipe dream so the only real focus is taking back The MOP (Michigan Ohio Pennsylvania)

So what's the real issue?

They'll spin it. Hillary has a track record of shite a mile long and she still beat Trump in popular vote.

Her record as a prosecutor should be used against her but she's a black female. I'm totally against that being used as a pro or con against any candidate but it is what it is. She'll fall back on it just like Hillary did.

Harris' anti-2A stance will hurt her more than anything IMO. The other issues seem to be in line where the left is trending anyway. It'll depend on her being able to spin things as well as Hillary did.

She seems like an honorable human being. Comically wrong about many, many things though. But honorable. So that is an immediate disqualification from the Democratic Party. They want a firebrand and a Fundamentalist Progressive Ideologue who will defend the orthodoxy. They want the political version of a Pentecostal Evangelist, somebody who screams to the faithful and warns of eternal damnation. So sorry about Tulsi.

She's quite progressive but she'll get more than a few Republican votes. If she's the nominee Trump is toast.

If the choose Kamala over Tulsi, then they really are fools. They basically would rather lose on progressive ideas than actually stand a chance at winning.

Idiots, dont they know they lost because they didnt have the MOP. This is political suicide.... what are they thinking.

I'm not a politician (see my other threads) but even I know that Tulsi would fair better than Kamala. The black turnout, even at record numbers, means nothing if you cant get Ohio like former President Obama.

Yeah, a fricking Hawaiian who wants us to be accepting of others. That’s the equivalent of a Jew telling Israel to take down their wall

I honestly think she's possibly more courageous than Trump at this point.

Its easy to be in favor of open borders when you’re from an island state that has thousands of miles of ocean between her and the illegals sneaking across a border
