Most people were for lockdowns early on though.
Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh never went full panic and hysteria like Tucker. Levin and Rush thought the concept of lockdowns was insane.

His cheese has slid off his kracker.

Tucker was the one on prime time calling all of the bull shite out every day. Rush was only in the radio.
I’m not saying Tucker was always perfect, but people forget how pivotal he was that year. People who didn’t know wtf to do had an alternative perspective just on the other news channel. A lot of normal people that didn’t know or care about politics at all were woken up. In many cases thanks to Tucker. Let’s not rewrite history.
But yeah now he’s lost his mind.

The ending explains it ... yes. Shutter Island reference.

Honestly, not too long ago, he was great.....and once he started his podcast, things changed.
I believe these casters are desperate for content and attention, they will do anything for ratings....high ratings = more cash

Tucker's wisdom is amazing. He is the leader we need.

Same thing goes for Ben Shapiro and Clay Travis.
There were a number of people on the right who didn't buy into the lockdowns. I was very anti-lockdown prior to the lockdowns, figured there had to be something to the hype when we did go into lockdown and became pro-lockdown, before changing my stance back to anti-lockdown a week or two into them for the remainder of the pandemic.

Oh I was a huge supporter. Raised my Son, during his formative years, watching Tucker every weeknight.
Named one of my dogs Tucker.
Was a charter subscriber to TCN when Fox News fired him.
Boycotted Fox New for months afterwards.
Subscribed to Alp even.
But he has gone completely off the deep end.
Also, he's very defensive about his Son being disconnected from Vance and the White House. Plenty of D.C. insiders say Brock (I think is his name) was shown the door but Tucker vehemently denies it ... it insulted by it.
Tucker brags about having attended fifty (50) Grateful Dead concerts. I've attended one, that was enough for me. It was fine ... but FIFTY? I mean two or three or five or ten ... but fifty?
That might indicate some issues in and of itself.

Old hippy libs worshiped the Grateful Dead.

Now I see why Tucker regrets interviewing Fuentes. Fuentes trashed Tuckers son, Buckley.

Old hippy libs don’t want any of this crazy shite that the left is pushing now. This is new wave shite. Hate for all white men.

All you people claiming that Huckster was "great" up until just a few minutes ago are coping.
I've been calling him "Huckster" for probably four years at this point, because it was obvious that that's what he was. Even before he was fired from Fox.
Same with Candace Owens.
And yes, both of them have gotten worse, because that's apparently what happens when you get addicted to conspiracies. Like any addiction, you go further and further down the rabbit hole and become less and less functional and have less and less of a grip on reality.
But they were both obvious flake-arse grifters to begin with. That's what caused them to go crazy, not the other way around.
Thing is, if both of those two hadn't turned on Trump, 80% of the posters here would still support them no matter how far out past Pluto they've both gone.
