Why do you presume I FWD emails? I use email for business only. Why do you think you can knock me down as you openly brag about trolling this board; as you sit in some dumbass cubicle posting on our dime?

one of the most striking indictments of our political culture in modern history

this is all because of the DEMs, especially the progs and their media cohorts

after 2012 with how they handled Romney, there was an inflection point

Romney was by pretty much every account a legit good dude without any real character issues, and the DEMs and their coordinated media threw everything they could at him. if Mitt Romney can be smeared, then there is no point in trying to be respectful and "good"

when Romney came out and attacked Trump, i laughed my arse off at the coordinated media celebrating him. these people have no honor, created real political value in dismissing personal honor, and then try to criticize Trump for being dishonorable in their eyes? get fricked

Sword ? Homoerotic imagery aside ( not that there is anything wrong with that) it’s just all veiled insults. The same impulse that allows you to make racial slurs or talk about people’s family members. You get angry and you lash out . None of it addressed what I said - which is that Progressives have overplayed their cultural hand, have been repudiated, and are now reacting in an infantile manner . My guess is that you know that, but, you can’t yet bring yourself to admit it.

Right. Everything is because of the dems and the media and the GOPe. If only they could all get in line with the virtuous Trump revolution. Because even when Trump’s acolytes behave disgracefully, it’s only because their hands were forced. Not because a lot of them are shitty people all on their own.

Good talk, Jake.

Sorry, but I don’t seem to remember Trump supporters rioting, looting and burning shite down. You’re describing the majority of the actions of the left since the election.

Yes. If people have to punch Nazis, other people might have to throw Commies from helicopters.

if you're asking how Trump won, then...yes

he's not a legit Republican and he's certainly not a contemporary Democrat, so neither can claim his success

you're projecting. i never said nor implied such superlatives

You're in denial if you really don't think that the 2012 smear campaign from Obama and the democrats played a role in the development of the political culture that you despise as nihilistic and unprincipled.

But I would also say that was just one factor. The other big driving factor was the complete refusal of the rank and file GOP to fight that kind of character assassination and meet them blow for blow and instead they just laid down and took it like a pack of bitches.

The voters had a market full of demand to fight those battles and the GOP didn't want to so they turned to Trump who was shrewd enough to recognize demand when he sees it and the rest is history.

We have been through this. You are just trying your best at being an arse.

I will tell you exactly how this is going ro play out.

The people who put Trump in office will push out the Gope. They will look at the trash in Washington and be thankful.

The left will not find power due to their militant arm and their constant calling Americans racists and more.

When the rest of the information comes out, the rust belt will be so against the dems, you will not win the senate nor the house.

It seems everybody but you understands that.

Uh remind me again who literally rioted, burned and tore shite down after the Presidential election and forced expensive recounts throughout the rust belt while pushing a fake narrative smear to discredit the results of the election when they did the very same thing themselves?

again, Mitt Romney. he was above that. it didn't work out. at all

Rhaegar fought valiantly, Rhaegar fought nobly, Rhaegar fought honorably. And Rhaegar died.

also, speaking of 2012 again, why is it that Trump's vitriol is so terrible but the vitriol of the left in 2012 is OK? why the doule standard? because Obama himself didn't have the words scripted to say? if his operation is working with its media cohorts to spread legitimate lies about Romney, he's just as guilty.

or hell, what about Harry fricking Reid

quote:

One of the strangest incidents of the 2012 presidential campaign was when then-Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid accused then-Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney of having not paid any taxes over the past decade. That Reid made that allegation from the floor of the Senate made it even odder.

quote:

Yet Reid (D-Nev.) not only refuses to retract the allegation but also seems to take great pride in it. When pressed by CNN's Dana Bash last year about continuing to defend a statement that is not true, Reid responded, "Romney didn't win, did he?"

”Grab your sword” is just an metaphor for “suit up or prepare for battle.” Of course I was mocking, but it’s not such a sinister thing. Take a breath.

Leftist radicalism is going to remedied by rightist reactionary radicalism? Good luck with that.

They may have overplayed their hand. My guess is that it hasn’t impacted your life anymore than it’s impacted mine. Your problem is that you’re a stereotypical pissed off, aging, sensitive culture warrior who spends his days “virtue signaling” his interest in solving society’s ills and spends his nights wringing his hands about far away problems that may not even be problems. You can do better than that. I believe it.

And don’t make the mistake of thinking you’re not overplaying your hand as much as or more than the crazies on the left. That bill will come due, too.

There's elements of truth to pizza gate. People can poopoo it because it clearly has a lot of speculation and internet bullshite, but it's clear they were discussing illegal activities in code and the kiddie stuff fits.
