That TSMC plant is huge too. I bid some other projects to support that plant. They were basically taking up all the concrete and rebar being supplied to the whole Phoenix/Mtn West region. It was a bitch to get quotes or guarantee of deliveries for any other projects. Rebar companies were sending in resources from New Mexico, Colorado, and California to help reinforce local suppliers, so I couldn't even get pricing from surrounding states to send in supplies. A bunch of work going on in that area. Housing market was booming last year too. California influx I guess.

Making chips here is very important but more important is antibiotics and other medicines. That has been transferred to China for the most part.
