Trump’s Strategy for the 2nd Debate

I’m just going to come out and say it: that debate was a shite show. While I think Wallace is primarily to blame for that, Trump is secondary to blame and I don’t see how you can blame Biden himself for it being a shite show. Trump started off strong but whimpered and simply became annoying. Biden stood his ground.

And yes the DNC was a shite show production wise and policy wise, but it did sell one thing effectively specifically: that Joe was a good guy and a loving grandpa. While I initially found bringing the stuttering kid disgusting, I saw another video with him and that kid and it was very heartwarming. I think Biden was being very genuine with this kid, and I can see why this kid admired him. Here’s the clip

So what should Trump do with this? Go after his actual opponent: Kamala Harris. Going after grandpa unless he shits himself and collapses on stage isn't going to work. You have to convince the American people that you aren’t running against a nice grandfatherly figure that might give Americans comfort and think of their own grandfather.

I said this before the debate and I will say it again and hopefully Trump will do it this time. Tell the people that if elected, Joe will be President in name only and not finish out his first term. 60%+ of Americans think this. Start off the debate that Trump has no idea what Biden is doing there, that he should instead retire to hang out with his grandkids and his elderly friends in his final years, that he is unfortunately senile, and save personal attacks that don’t have anything to do with his policies that he is going to ignore Joe and go straight for his “VP” who will be the actual President.

On the top of my head I think Trump only mentioned Kamala Harris once in the debate. Forget Biden’s record, go after Kamala’s. Trump has stood for massive prison reform, and with the exception of Joe Arpaio, Kamala Harris is the person in this country who has stood most in the way of that. He needs to say this verbatim on the debate stage: “Kamala Harris has done more to hurt minority communities and single parent households than everyone else that was on that Democratic stage combined.” It’s a true statement.

And while I don’t think Joe personally will go after religious communities, free speech, and the 2nd Amendment (which has never been more popular), Kamala absolutely will. She’s repeating bullshite like speech is violence and silence is violence. What does that mean for you, America? She’s openly running as a despot. She will destroy the 1st and 2nd Amendments. Kamala packing the courts with Leftist judges who agree with her means she won’t have to have a constitutional amendment to get her to way. All she needs is 50 seats in the Senate to be a total dictator.

And then Biden (although I don’t think he has any idea what he’s talking about) says he’s going to make Beto in charge of gun control. Not one mention of that in this week’s debate. Kamala has said that she’ll give Congress 100 days to ban assault weapons, which what the frick does that mean? No mention of that either. And Joe Biden himself (rightly) called Kamala Harris out on that being unconstitutional, and she laughed it off saying “Hey Joe, instead of saying no we can’t let’s say YES WE CAN!”

Seriously, why isn’t he attacking Kamala more? Completely ignore Biden at this point and focus squarely on Kamala. She is a loathsome count, maybe even more so than Hillary (which is saying something), and she is directly threatening to take our rights away. If Trump loses to Kamala, then we’ll look back and wish Hillary won in 2016. Say what you will about Hillary, but she’s a corporatist that would have left us alone save for taxes.

Kamala actively wants to run your life. She tried to throw parents in jail if their kids skipped school, which disproportionately affected minorities and single parent households. What do you think that bitch is going to do when she gets in charge of Department of Education? Make “White Fragility” required reading that teaches kids they’re racist pieces of shite and turn their parents over to the Feds if they refuse to allow their kids to read such garbage? What’s she going to do to private and home schools? What about to churches that she thinks preach sexism and homophobia? What about when she argues that the founders had in mind the militia being armed and not the people?

Trump needs to get his shite together. Kamala is your opponent, not Biden. Biden is harmless, but Kamala isn’t. She’s a despot that would love to tell you what you can eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and doesn’t give a single damn about your well being. Trump’s primary goal is affection, which requires a happy populace. Kamala’s is power and to stomp over people. Save for being re-elected (which I’m sure she’ll very much try to overthrow the electoral college to ensure that), Kamala doesn’t give two damns about really anything but her own power. She’s absolutely Stalinisc even if she isn’t a Stalinist herself. This country could burn under her watch, and if we have something to say about it, then she’ll enact hate speech laws that I guarantee she’s going to ensue and then prosecute or arrest your arse for speaking against her. Trump needs to get his eye on the ball, and that ball is not Biden but Kamala. He needs to get his shite together.
