Some have /will, but many more will not. And will probably assure another democratic victory in 24. I think most of them are realizing Biden has to go assuming he even makes it that far.

If this is what you think pushes people to vote Democrat over the 200,000,000,000 worse things going on in the country, then either you're a fricking moron, or you correctly believe that most voters are fricking morons.

No one who is dropping support of Trump is going to vote for a Democrat because of this, they will put their support behind other Republican candidates.

How does that translate to the predicted Democrat win? I guess you are inadvertently stipulating that moving away from Trump = Democrat wins?

Voted enthusiastically for Trump in 2016 and 2020. Love the make American great message and policies he tried to implement. Unfortunately, I think 2020 broke him and he is no longer an effective leader of the MAGA movement. He is practically admitting that he is just cashing in one last time. He is no longer a serious candidate. I'm actually fine with this. The man actually made some significant sacrifices and has likely lost tons of money and he served the Country well for 4 years. If he makes some money back grifting on his way out, good for him. Also good for us that he has jumped the shark and at this rate will not be a serious candidate a year from now.

What were the “conservative” proposals that the greater GOP tried to advance while he was president and that he rejected?

I've never claimed that the GOP, especially the DC version, is conservative. You could also ask which liberal spending proposals advanced by the GOP did he reject?

I'm just saying that those people who are saying they are done with Trump due to this, aren't going to vote democratic. I'm not predicting a win or loss for the Democrats.

Love seeing all these weak conservatives dropping him and looking for any excuse to justify it. I guess the McCainiacs always return to their old ways.

He is exactly the same person and the buffoon crew here that gargled his balls for years are the same too. All dipshits.

I know, and therein lies the problem.

Does a strong conservative ideologue type push them in that direction? I don't know and I'm not completely sure who that might be - although some people seem to think there's an absolute sure thing out there.

Trump wasn't one, but by most accounts it seemed he was willing to go along with most every conservative proposal backed by any sizable portion of the DC GOP, which I agree is not on the whole exactly or staunchly "conservative."

Is there someone who can better buck these folks and the direction they want to inherently lean? I think that remains to be seen.

Yep these homos haven't figure out yet that we're in Civil War II and they're still scared of having to defend Trump. You don't see Democrats looking for excuses to distance themselves from Biden when challenged. That's why they win - they're not better, they're just more dedicated to winning, even if it means cheating and lying (and it does).

Trump had zero chance winning the presidency again before this. Now he has less than zero.

I’m about 75% sure he is using a play on words here. The trump card. FWIW that’s just my opinion. I support the man, but if this was his true real announcement it was pretty dumb lol. I’ll admit it, but still support his candidacy

I don’t think this alone drives voters away from him anymore than anything else that he’s previously done. But it sure as hell makes it that much more difficult to win voters. Such a stupid thing to do but the laughs are great.
