Yes I’m sure reports are given to him from all of his direct subordinates. The report likely listed this situation very vaguely as it’s not the only thing they worked on. He’s not going to be involved in every detail of the going ons of his subordinates, he picked them to do the job so he doesn’t need to.

We’re not talking about how much office supplies he ordered. We’re talking about a very public news story and political topic that involves the UK as well as Romania.
Somebody directed Grenell to discuss Tate Brothers with Romanian counterpart.

Tate brothers are US citizens and have not been found guilty of any crimes. They are free to come and go from/to the USA. All this pearl clutching about them coming here is crazy.

Maybe he knows about trying to get every American being held around the planet as hostage or BS charges released and returned. I think he ran on this. Maybe there are many. Too many to remember all the names. "Just bring them home guys" or something like that.
