Trump won't commit to signing a 15 week abortion ban

He says he will find a compromise that "both sides will like". Sure, no problem there. You would think he is talking about a freaking budget bill.
Deny it all you want but Trump is Pro Choice. I don't know which is worse the fact he talks about abortion as just some casual issue and not about human life or the fact he thinks he can get Democrats to work with him to come up with a reasonable compromise that everyone will like.
Trump says he will compromise with Democrats on abortion so that they’re nice to him: “Both sides are going to like me.” Then he says it’s “a terrible thing” babies with heartbeats are protected in Iowa, Florida, and South Carolina.

There needs to be a heartbeat bill. Once the heart is beating, then the baby is truly alive.

Trump literally said it's a "terrible thing and a terrible mistake" to have an abortion ban at 6 weeks. He has made his position on that clear. It's just a matter of whether or not 15 weeks is long enough and he's waffling there. Maybe 6 months? I mean whatever makes the Democrats "happy" seems to be the priority.

It's vile and evil, but it is what it is.
There are several other hills to die on that affect this country in a much more impactful way on a daily basis than abortion.

Trump is the one who is making this Federal. He could have said he sees it as a state issue but he said he wants to negotiate with Democrats and come up with a solution that makes everyone happy so we will just stop talking about abortion. That should work great.

Some women do and some don't. I know many women deeply opposed to abortion.
That's not the point though. The point is about being Pro Life and trying to reduce or eliminate abortions and a big part of that is changing hearts and minds. It's about putting value on human life. You do that by celebrating families and babies and encouraging women to have them. You don't do that by saying you will cut a deal with Democrats on the number of weeks they find tolerable so you can sell out the Pro Life movement and cheapen it to this.
It also shows Trump hasn't learned a damn thing. Doing something like this will make abortion officially a Federal issue so that means the moment Dems get in power they will simply pass abortion on demand up until birth and dare Republicans to try and take away the "rights" they are giving women. It's not like Democrats are working to negotiate a deal with Republicans now, they aren't stupid.
I could almost tolerate Trump's mistakes if he would actually learn from them but he just can't wait to make new ones based on the old mistakes he never learned from. Many of you can't wait to excuse it away.
