He won't be the nominee. He will endorse the nominee via his negotiating tactic of him running again.

The GOP nominee in 2024 will be one of the following:

- Trump
- Trump Jr
- DeSantis

I honestly don't think anyone else has a chance.

I think you answered your own question.

He had good policies and was not PC. People, myself included, like that.

That doesn’t explain why people here idolize Trump. He isn’t electable. He won’t win in 24 if he runs. Plenty of people are capable of promoting the same policies that Trump did while in office. I voted for Trump twice, but I’d rather someone get the nomination who can actually win the election. Trump has no chance.

At this point, I think that if the then 78 year old Trump runs, he would pick apart GOP candidates, including DeSantis, which will weaken the eventual GOP winner against the DEM - who will come from yet another bad group of candidates. Right now I would give the edge to DeSantis as he appeals to a wide range of Republicans as well as Liberty Loving Conservatives. You have to give the early nod to Noem as VP. But, others will have their say.

Desantis is only 42 years of age. He's in no hurry. If Trump's popularity persists into the 2024 election cycle and he decides to run, Desantis will remain appropriately patient and eventually reap the benefits of Trump's full support when his time comes.

Love Trump but need to move on next cycle. Yes for DeSantis/Noem. Cannot wait to see Noem destroy the Skank in the VP debates.

This guy...

We gotta vote for who they tell us to vote for or the Democrats win.

Piss on Noem. She's a darkhorse establishment candidate pandering to the rubes. If DeSantis can make it through the primary he's got my vote. Otherwise it's Trump all the way.

My personal opinion is the vote would not have been close enough for the cheaters to win had Cruz or Pence or DeSantis or someone like that been at the top of the ticket.

I disagree. The cheating was so well designed that enough necessary mail in ballots would have been found and counted to put the Dems on top. This will happen again because... it worked to perfection.

I think Trump may find he is able to get more accomplished behind the scenes with far less irritation than if he were out front. You also have to factor in his wife and son. After what they have endured for the last 4 years, Melania may convince him it isn't worth the misery the press and social media subjected them to.

Trump isn't going away, but I think he will assume more of a 'king maker' role in the future.
