Don't forget to stretch first. "pumped" can be problematic.

I'm a Trump supporter, but I don't like when he comments on TV ratings. It just gives ammo to those who claim he's 'just a reality tv star.'

He's much more than that, but calling out ratings first thing in the morning doesn't help stifle that narrative.

Joe & Mika loves Trump when he was a candidate. Then SHE lost.

That’s why he continues to punch down.

You're right.

A true leader sits there and takes it....

YOU are no leader

Riiiiiight. Because leadership is bending over and taking it by ignoring the outright falsehoods and continuing to let them spread untruths on a national platform.

This is the problem with "educated" repulicans now.
My wife, no pics, has the same mindset, that fighting back isn't the right way to go about this. I asked her the other day when she started thinking this way because her father sure as hell didn't teach her that. She thought about it and couldn't answer.
Democrats have taught our generation to not fight back and everything will be OK through universities. Repulicans in leadership have been the same way for a couple decades now, and we end up where we are today. If we don't fight now, we're done.

Because they have become the Swamp and love being on the government tit! They are no different that the Dems. IMO Trump slams both sides. that's why his numbers are up with the people and the establishment can't stand him.

His only means of getting back at these assholes is to tweet. Thery get a national stage everyday to bash him. His tweeting is a little bit of payback

I agree. Its a shame what they have been complicit to and even an equal partner to the Dems over my lifetime.
There is no government "for the people" anymore. Trump is giving it a damn good effort to change that back. He just needs a sliver of help from one side.

Now apply that to FDR on Dec 8, 1941

Few of todays wars are actually fought with guns. They have become mostly PR wars. Ask China, theyre losing a war right now

You have some of the dumbest takes on this board. Purely because you choose a side first, then form an opinion

Exactly. True a true leader would just roll over and surrender to his political enemies, amiritght? Ya' know... like Romney does.

I'm not a fan of Trump's crass language and style. But I can certainly respect his willingness to take the arrows from fighting back.

You have to remember, leftists today consider winning (anything) to be "aggression" and "oppression". Their strategy for ending a conflict isn't to win, but rather surrender as fast as possible--so the enemy will be nice to them.

The bigger you get, the more they want to drag you down. But the bigger you get, the more it hurts them when you hit them. That said, Trump's tried and true tactic if you hit me I hit you isn't leadership. It's just good for PR.

Recall how well the non-response worked for both Bush presidents. GHWB lost re-election after masterful execution of the war with Iraq. GWB took on a bunker mentality while the Swamp, DNC/News Media and RINOs sent the world into recession with the mortgage bubble. Clinton and Obama didn't need to respond because MSNBC and CNN propped up every dumb decision they made. PR is a component of leadership. When a political leader remains stoic while a massive propaganda war rages against him (and his country), what do you expect to happen?

Why is the president concerned about getting back at them? He’s the president, I’d figure he’s got more important things to worry about than tv ratings or getting back at talking heads.

Not kidding, you are a cuck....

This is the kind of defeatist bullshite that gave us Romney, McCain, etc.

Our enemies and our so-called "Allies" are emboldened by this weak mindset.

Fk EVERYONE who claims that leadership is about "acting Presidential".....

We've had years and years of people ACTING like Statesmen in FRONT of the camera, then SCREWING the country when the lights are off.

If you are hypnotized by this sort of theater, PLEASE never, ever vote.

Getting elected again? You think he gets elected by sitting back and taking it? How was 2016?

How? You'd have to totally ignore everything he's done as president to make such a ridiculous claim. Anyone doing so doesn't have an opinion worthy of consideration.

I'm not talking about that. Trump has to fight the politicians but he doesn't have to shitpost and alienate the actual regular people.
