I haven't been more wrong about a person that I was with Mattis. I thought he was a great hire for Trump when he first made the announcement.

You werent neceasarily wrong at the time.
People forget (they cant remember anything before 2018) that right before he was elected Syria and North Korea were powder kegs waiting to go off. ISIS reigned and seemed unstoppable.

This is true and is definitely why and how there was a lot of hype about him when President-Elect Trump nominated him to be SecDef.
We thought we were getting a warrior that is also smart and has the same foreign policy that is realistic and avoids the excesses of libertarianism and neoconservatism.
Turns out Mattis is just a political hack that only cares about getting into the cocktail circuit in the beltway.

I’d say it gets hard for some of you to keep making excuses for Trump, but at least it does get easier when you can use the same one 20 or so times.

Jared and Ivanka are the only two people seemingly immune to that.
If President Trump wants his administration and reelection chances to improve, he needs to send his daughter and son in law back to New York as they have run their course in the administration.
