Paul Ryan said it best Friday, "GOP hasn't transitioned from an opposition party to a governing party"

Do you have reading comprehension problems?

My God, most liberals are dumber than I thought.

Talk about being brainwashed...

Where did I say you are a Republican? You take a shot at my reading comprehension skills, and then post this?

You accused me of lacking objectivity in defending (or what you wrongly interpreted to be defending) republicans. It was safe was to assume that you believed me to be a Republican or at least in support of their actions.

Trump whipped for it. They sent 20 repeals to Obama's desk. This is a crying shame. Our gov led by the right is a banana republic.

Or perhaps you should back up your assertion with more than insults when challenged.

How do democrats own the failure of a republican congress not following through with what they said they were going to do for years and as recently as wednesday of this past week?

Not what he said.

You fricking Progs frick this board up in every way imaginable. Gosh darn this chaps me off. A solid longtime poster makes a great bipartisan point and you ignorant fricks come in with your usual drivel.

Three different posters now have pointed out to you, the Op, and the other aTm moron that you missed the point yet here you are still hammering away at the wrong thing.

I guess he realized blaming the Democrats looked absurd given not a single Democratic vote was needed for passage.

Don't you realize that the Democrats control the media and pop culture, therefore they control the "independent, moderate voter"?

In the days leading up to the bill's climax (a good word for Toddy), it was sob story after sob story, night after night, about people losing their heavily subsidized healthcare.

Edit: I should say "health insurance," because sorry-arse Obamacare policies do not guarantee health care because of high deductibles and narrow provider networks. It blows, like the OP.

I guess Cotton was willing to listen to those he represents.

I gained a bit of respect for him for listening to those who would be most effected by trumps bill.

Not sure the snarkey response was necessary, but the issue of ability to govern is a legitimate one. Trump clearly has no clue, but none of is are surprised. R leaders know better but were painted into a corner with the constant "repeal and replace" mantra during the campaign. My hope, and it is a dim one, is that moderate Rs and Ds will get together and fix the problems with the ACA, get Trump to jump on the train, and leave those on the far right and far left at the station.

If that's so important, why did the Republicans let them do that?

The government and associated bureaucracy is too large to govern. By any party.

I mean they proposed the bill and then didn't have the votes to pass it, how is this not their fault? Do you understand how congress works?
