re: Trump turned out less fascist-y than I thought he'd be in office

If you are a small business owner and you don’t like high taxes that makes you a low information voter

I voted for him.
Early on in his candidacy, I was legit worried about the approach he'd take. I didn't fear ideology, I feared his working experience: he's a businessman. Running a business is not the same as running a representative democracy (or republic), it's a lot closer to running a dictatorship. Maybe a benevolent dictator, but still a dictator.
But thus far, he's been quite good at working within the system, instead of ramming everything down your throat because he's "the boss". Now he's geared up on the Wall, but that was his elected mandate; he kind of has to attempt that. He promised he would get that wall built any way he could, and was elected on that. So he's doing everything he can to do so.
He hasn't appointed a lot of yes-men, and he seems to do well working with congress. And he seems a lot more flexible than his opponent in the election had been in her previous positions of power.

I hate responding to someone and then realizing they're just a drive by troll

Your rambling, idiotic post just makes me think you don't know what facism is

Wanna talk fascist-y behavior? Let’s do it. I’ll give you a few examples using today’s headlines or current events, and then I’ll point you to a nice piece of Nazi Germany history. Ready? Here we go.
Jussie Smollett: really needs no explanation, but he did fake a potential hate crime while at the same time trying to pin it on MAGA hat wearin’, Trump lovin’ white guys
Marinus van der Lubbe: a Dutch communist who claimed to have acted alone in setting fire to the Reichstag. Hitler’s govt claimed he was found close to the building and attributed the fire to communist agitators... A day after the fire Hitler requested and President Hindenburg signed the Reichstag Fire decree which immediately suspended most civil liberties in Germany.
Representative Omar: recently in the news due to her anti Semitic statements and tweets. I believe she made reference to hook nose Jews.
Pick any period of time you’d like in Nazi Germany. You can find hundreds of Nazi propaganda cartoons depicting Jews as vermin, rats and a multitude of other incarnations. Everyone of them feature Jews drawn with enormous hooked noses. Truth be told, representative Omar shares many of the same views from that time period.
I find it fascinating that the same people who were running around sky screaming and claiming Trump was a fascist, and the same ones we see in the news over and over doing fascist-y things as you put it.

You misused the term fascist basically every time you used it.
How so buddy? Feel free to correct me and show off your knowledge of political systems. Lazy one sentence posts telling someone that they're wrong are the coolest. Definitely not lazy and a waste of bandwidth.

Another one. Feel free to educate the board and show off your knowledge of fascism (without being lazy and copy/pasting the first thing you find in a google search).

You don’t even know what a Fascist is. Here are what real Fascist do when they take power:
Ban/roundup guns and ammo
Seize wealth from citizens
Nationalize all industry
Begin process of Endoctrinating the youth
Sounds more like Bernie, Warren, Hillary, Obama, etc than Trump.

Yikes

Facist are a direct result of the socialist doctrine, and these bitches try to pull Trump into that, they think PT has low information voters, that’s how stupid they think the board is.
There is so much BS and misinformation on this board sometimes lol. Fascism is a direct result of the Mussolini doctrine. And what the hell is the "socialist doctrine" exactly?

Good god, this is getting bad smh. This post was the worst one yet. It's okay not to understand certain political systems, but it's not okay to pretend like you do and try and fake it till you make it. Fascism is a political system and a doctrine, not some "here's what fascism does in four little lazy talking points." If only everything was so simple!

That’s a lot of words used to say that you don’t know what fascism is.

That's a lot of pointless drivel just to show everyone that you don't know what fascism is and that you are generally a moron.

“Make America Great Again was and is fairly fascist. "We once were a great place and a proud people but we have lost that and I am the only one who can bring it back." Huge fascist go-to move and talking point. “
Ronald Reagan coined this phrase as his 1980 campaign slogan. (He used “Let's make America great again") . Was Reagan fascist-y?
