The real question is how would you know that voter fraud is NOT taking place in blue states that don't have strong voter id laws? And even with picture id requirements, states like California that routinely issue standard driver's licenses to illegals are giving them all the identification they need to obtain many citizenship privileges including voting rights.

Because national elections aren't conducted at the state level. They're conducted at the county level, and administered at the precinct level. With independent poll workers and watchers from BOTH party often at every polling precinct in a given county.
If there were widespread in-person fraud issues, we would have seen some inkling of it. We haven't.
You're asking why we don't believe that the world is full of lizard people, since we have no way to reasonably check if they're hiding as humans.

Good. Appoint a bi-partisan commission and DoJ investigators. Let them render the report without interference. When nothing of significance turns up, everyone should feel better about the integrity of the system. Same with the ongoing investigations into Russia-gate.

Sorry but you are a well documented hack on this board. For instance, in the states like California that automatically register driver's license recipients to vote, I promise you if you show up to vote and show your driver's license, you will be allowed to vote regardless of whether you are a U.S. citizen or not. These states are intentionally circumventing the voter registration vetting process through their driver's license process and it should be stopped posthaste. LINK
