Even a moron like me would do the following in day 1:
Figure out our energy requirements in the US across the spectrum for the next 10 years
Build in potential energy resources for exporting energy in areas that we have an over abundance of supply
Figure out the most cost effective method for meeting those demands and what we need to meet those demands (drilling, hydro, coal, refining, transportation, etc)
Take that and build a plan to execute including legislation so it cannot be changed.
To my knowledge nobody has done this and I’m just sitting here on my phone.
