The airstrikes we led, or the permanent mission we installed?

IDGAF if Nato gets involved in this conflict or not. However, air space should not be closed in NATO countries to the USA no matter what

To counter the Eastern block countries / Soviet Union, which effectively collapsed in the early 90’s.

Yes, and thereby prevent war in Europe.

Yes, the USSR collapsed.

What are the negatives to remaining in NATO? In what way is it a detriment?

Only Congress can withdraw us.
Commander in Chief can pull troops and direct drawn downs. The bases can stay. We can still be in NATO but POTUS can neuter the whole damn thing.

The Soviet Eastern Block collapsed and yet NATO kept on expanding Eastward . If you’re standing in Moscow, there’s only one way you can see this. And it’s overtly hostile.

Bc it’s not a free membership. At least not for us. And our western “allies” are so afraid of the third world mason they’ve imported that they won’t even assist in an operation that benefits all.

Moscow isn’t threatened by NATO, at all. I’m sorry that you are dumb enough to believe that.

How are so many of you so unbelievably ignorant?

That number is OUR OWN DOMESTIC DEFENSE SPENDING. We spend that money whether we’re in NATO or not.

have they ever attacked a NATO country?

have they ever attacked a non-NATO country?

your answers will compromise your assertion.

No, correlation does not equal causation.

Moscow’s abject fear is the EU and economic factors. They aren’t scared of NATO invading from Estonia.

NATO was not formed to invade the USSR.

It was formed to keep USSR from invading.

Has Russia fricked with the Baltics since they joined NATO?

That makes you a very dumb person FWIW.

Well, I was taught by you after all. You’ve taught us that NATO costs us nothing. That’s news to everyone on earth, but it’s good news.
