I watched it as it happened. I watched it again. He was asked a question about it. And he answered. And he volunteered all options were open, even the military option, If Necessary.

I'll even stipulate he probably shouldn't have said this. And I'm not a poster who is a fan of most military interventions either. But that still doesn't change a couple of facts. He was asked about Venezuela. He didn't threaten in any way. He answered. There is obviously some tension due to the North Korean thing.

There are many things to not like about Trump. This isn't one of them.

Maduro would probably kiss him right now if he could. Maduro has been spewing all kind of crap about the USA overthrowing him and now he can point to Trump's loud mouth and say "I told you so".

After he brought up Venezuela. He was talking about Korea and then he said out of the blue "we talked about Venezuela today too". Then a reporter asked him what his options were in Venezuela as if it is just a given we are going to intervene. He confirmed, basically, that we are going to intervene and that all methods of intervention including military operations were on the table.

It was Trump's loud mouth that explicitly discouraged Assad from trying anything again similar to what he bombed them in the first place for back in late June and early July.

Trump doesn't want war but he has no qualms about taking appropriate action if necessary.

No, it isn't. Trump's position on military action has been the same since he was a candidate. He never takes anything off the table, be it nukes or anything else
So did we take a nuclear option off the table? We need an option for everyone right?

We literally "have" a military plan for every nation, even our allies

Even on a Friday night you asshats can't stay calm

It's absolutely ridiculous
Do you really think that that is what Trump was talking about? You are such a poor excuse for a US citizen.

We're invading Venezuela to have the US win Miss Universe again.

But still I agree that military options for Venezuela is unwarranted beyond doing everything we can to prevent it from spreading beyond their borders as we don't want illegal immigration getting worse as Mexico keeps the parade of illegal immigration from south america flowing to the the United States.

Venezuelans wouldn't flood into this country. It's not like Central American. They wouldn't get past the Darien Gap.

That's exactly what he said

He didn't threaten shite

"Leaving all options on the table" is not a threat

Still a stupid thing for him to say. Even mentioning a military option in Latin America ( and to do what?) causes confusion and concern.
