I would just have stayed home. It’s my right as a 26 year military veteran and a US citizen to vote or not vote…I regret my choice.
Furthermore, with the deranged responses and just depraved anger on here, with such blind loyalty to someone they have no personal relationship with, just confirms to me he and his court jesters are not on the train I want to be on.

This is one of the points I wanted to bring up.
And no judgement being made.
I've had plenty of times where I have made choices that I regret. Sometimes, there's choices where I have to ask myself Which of these choices would I regret more?
So, in retrospect. Considering how much was at stake in this election. Considering what it was, that this nation had to fight against... For myself, as a fighter, I'd have regretted it more, not jumping in to fight against the things I believe against. For your own .mind, wouldn't you feel the same?

I don’t see voting as “fighting”…I did all the fighting I ever wanted to do for what I know now to have been a Neocon field trip of destruction across many lands that are worse off than before.
Just was hoping Trump was serious this time…his recent bloviating about Greenland, Panama, Canada, GoM show he’s like a fat kid hyped up on power candy.

Of course, any time. I don't always agree with people here, but I'd so much rather see honest discussion than the gaslighting and insults being thrown around.
I didn't serve in a uniform, so I can't say in that aspect. But i can most definitely understand where you are coming from, as far as when you served. Joining a cause, with the intent of doing something right. And then seeing that it was all for somebody else's agenda. That's what they did to us dumb, angry, kids in the streets.
So I'd seen what you'd posted about his cabinet picks. I'm afraid I got nuthin' on trying to ease your mind on that.
But on some of this stuff like the Panama canal. Let's at the very least, consider how Trump plays the media. He says wild, absurd things and the media picks it up to mock him with it. Not knowing that underneath it, there's something going on that he WANTS them to be talking about. That they wouldn't, if they knew what he was really talking about.
He has his faults, yes. But he's also a cagey assed fox at times too. I'm hopeful that this is what he's doing now.
