He's talked about the putting stickers over other stickers for years.
You were the one who told me that Sir Winston had acknowledged having the Twitter account "MAGA Mike King" that the press had reported was sending out voting disinfo. Sir Winston admitted it was his account but said someone else had been the one to do the dirty.
It actually made it to a Senate intelligence committee report (page 17 of linked doc) where Senator Heinrich was grilling the general counsel of Twitter (by the way, he seems to have gotten the date wrong):
