re: Trump supporters have been conned so thoroughly I don't think they can ever admit it.

Nobody was ever under the impression Trump embodied Christian values. Nobody was conned in this regard. But he advocates for Christians/christianity and doesn’t seek to tear it down like the left does. Since I don’t look to politicians as moral examples, this is a very favorable deal.

Also, I was definitely fooled for a couple or few months how much Biden had mentally declined. Terrible!
Seems easy to admit these people are POSs on both sides of the aisle. Gotta hold them all accountable.

Even if he was awful (and he hasn’t been so far), he’d be a vast improvement over the Biden shadow handlers your people installed.

Used to, people, like John Edwards, would at least pretend to have values and when they got busted they would be ushered aside. I think that's better than what we have now.
When you can openly have terrible values, morals, with no repercussions, I think it's a worse influence on our country than at least pretending to have values.

Trump never masqueraded as a libertarian. He has tried more than any president in a very long time to eliminate waste and succeeded to an extent.

Trump sent a birthday card with a graphic illustration of an underage child to a known sex predator.
Fake.

Subjective opinion.

Did you forget "No one is above the law"? Or does that only apply when the Biden admin does it? The democrats decided to play dirty first. This is Trump surviving all of it and punching back.

It's really hard for people to admit they were conned or believed the wrong thing. 10 years from now I think most will claim they didn't really support Trump. Anything but admit they were fooled.
My guess is that in 10 years the only ones claiming they didnt support Trump will be the ones lying to avoid persecution from the radical communists that will have completely taken over your party by then.

I'm on the left
Why? What, and tell us in very specific terms, is so appealing about the left.

I might agree, but this is the political landscape of our time. I can’t think of any prominent politician on the left that would have any moral high ground over Trump.

Reprehensible and I supported his impeachment! Pretty sure the GOP did too. I haven't changed.

My values are we are all created equal and we all have equal dignity as children of God regardless of gender, race, etc. In my assessment there is enormous economic injustice right now that makes lives of the working poor much worse than justice demands.
In America right now the left is closer to my values. The right has become the party of fear and grievance. The right is the party of tax cuts for the rich, tax increases for the poor (tariffs), inhumane treatment of illegal immigrants, mass corruption.
It's really not so much that the left is great, but, that the right in America has become so bad at the moment. If there were conservatives worth a shite I'd have no problem voting for them.

I look forward to being called gay, I view it as implicit admission of being conned and a step forward!
I don't know what your sexual orientation has to do with it, but you're a liberal so I guess that's a topic that, by default, must be affixed to any subject matter.
But more to the point, criticize Trump voters all you want for being "conned". But you voted for Kamala Harris. Brah. If you failed to perceive exactly how overwhelming of an absolute DEI shite show she is and has always been, I find it hard to fathom how anyone would take your accusations and statements seriously. And with that, it can easily be said and demonstrably proven, that Presidents don't actually follow through on over 90% of their campaign promises. Trump is the only President of my lifetime outside of Reagan and Clinton, that actually did a lot of the things they promised they would do.
But I'll give you this much... I greatly appreciate your usage of proper grammar and punctuation in your posts, whether I agree with the subject matter or not.

Saying that you like Bernie Sanders does not help your credibility.

Your attempt to disparage the values in the right are so absurd as to not deserve a reply. Do better.
