Probably. I’ve voted for my last shitbag, capitulating, establishment Republican though. Which is why I am intently listening to DeSantis news. If nominated, I would probably vote for him at this point, because at least some of the talking points about him being an establishment plant are contrived.

There are others I think I would vote for as well, but as of now it’s Trump in the primary, and Trump or DeSantis in the general.

I think whichever gets the nomination should tap Josh Hawley for VP.

Not voting for anyone not named Donald Trump. I’m ready for the country to hit rock bottom so we can start over.

Amen!

I just spent the week in that lib shithole know as Jacksonville. These urbanites need an iron fist. If Ron can’t even control a city in his own state why in the hell would I vote for that snowflake. #trump20242028

99.99% of Trump voters/supporters will vote for the R nominee if it’s not a Romney type Uniparty stooge.

No they sit home and pout and claim the nomination was stolen. They don’t really care if Biden wins, to them anyone other than Trump is the same. No difference between DeSantis or Biden, so they are happy to see Biden re-elected because they can nonstop bitch about Rinos. They really want the vote to be a “pure” vote. They want the Republicans reduced to hard core Trumpists - you’re either 100% Trump Loyalist or you’re out. They’re not about winning, just purity.

Yes. Anybody that doesn't have an D by their name.

There are some really bad candidates out there but none worse than the Nazi.. er, I mean Dumocrap party.

For those ready for rock bottom, you might want to rethink this. Nothing says what we build back will be better. History doesn't favor a better situation and that is after a war is fought. I've seen war. I don't want to face the consequences of war ever again.

Here are my reasons.

Trump was spied on by the federal government as a presidential candidate, president elect, and president.

The federal government colluded with media and big tech to censor conservatives.

As president, he was deplatformed and had little ability to communicate with the American people. As president.

We have no justice system in this country. People have been held in solitary confinement for nearly two years without charges yet.

There is not one Republican candidate that is calling this out. Not one, except Donald J. Trump.

We need someone who will get in office and clean house. Trump has a plan. The others are just going to maintain the status quo.

So it’s trump or nobody else. It won’t matter otherwise.

I respect your opinion, but violence is the only effective alternative when the law, including the Constitution and Bill of Rights are not only being broken, violated, and ignored, but overtly, flamboyantly so. This IS rock bottom in a representative republic. Can it get worse? No doubt. But the government flaunting the law and the rights of citizens cannot be described as anything more than rock bottom.

That's not how it works. If we hit rock bottom, we won't get a chance to start over.

So the average population of Trump supporters is more reasonable than the population of Trump supporters on this board?

Well, that does make me feel better.

He didn't do that in his first term, what honestly makes you think he would do that in a second.

He didn't do that in the first two years of his first term, despite him having the WH, Senate, and House.

His appoinments in many cases were even more SWAMP than normal.

We aren't divided among geograpic lines. We also have somewhere near a 50/50 divide. Half the people in this country are perfectly fine with the direction we are headed in.

We would devolve into a middle east hellhole, where it's just constant internal fighting with no side ever gaining the upper hand for long.

This is not required, and very often in war is not the case.

Maybe, but the population centers would be starved out in a few weeks if it came down to violence. That's where about 85% of the 50% on one side of your equation lives.

True, but we aren't a democracy, we are a representative republic. We have a Constitution that limits what the government can and cannot do. The Constitution amounts to the terms upon which the governed give their consent to be governed. When those terms are knowingly and willfully violated by the ruling class, the only solution is to withdraw that consent.

Trump used to celebrate hitting 50% of the over all electorate in polls. Hes so mediocre. Tired of losing yet?
