Trump Should Steal Moment and resign and then go scorched Earth.

Trump could take all of the Oxygen out the media with a resignation. He would get all of the TV Coverage which he could then use as a chance to put America on notice for what his future plans are going to be.
I'm guessing he's either going to form his own media or create a new political party that will have a nationalist theme to it.
Let Mike Pence be President for a week and make fun of it.
This will wind up the Trump supporters and you will have mass hysteria with Trump taking the "higher ground" by stepping down.
If he waits until the Inauguration, all of the attention will be on Biden...If he resigns now (while pardoning everyone) the attention will all be on him.

The only way he steps down is if he has already handed the reigns over to the military. In no universe is Trump stepping down for Biden.
