Cool, now do this with cigs, alcohol, driving older vehicles, and anyone who gets involved with payday loans.
All of which are legal.

None of which are wise, except driving older cars.
Personally, I wouldn't care if all of those were illegal. Maybe we'd have less cancer patients on medicaid and less bankruptcies ripping off lenders.

So, you're in favor of alcohol prohibition?

thats probably because its illegal, so yea. grass is green.

literally no one is for legalizing pot for minors. the same can be said for alcohol to an even greater extent.
also 8 IQ points is not even 1 standard deviation of a change so it is not a statistically relevant change.

Funny how you mention prohibition and how the violent criminals won but want to keep the most benign drug illegal. I sure hope you feel the same about masks and trans fats and every other health related issue. Forcing people how to treat their own bodies seems to be very important to you. Heart disease and strokes kill millions more than weed and always will.

In your opinion. I live in a state where it's legal and it's incredibly relaxing and helps me sleep. I'm a CPA who is doing damn well at my company, so it's annoying that you try to paint everyone who indulges as a loser.

Food isn't psychotropic. It doesn't affect your judgement. Slow your reflexes, and provides nutrition.
Masks, useless.
Trans fats, no opinion.
Weed is for losers. Walk into any prison and ask for a show of hands of how many inmates smoke weed. I think you know what you'd see.

Oh so you're that guy.

So your argument is whether we need to allow people easy access to something that diminishes their ability to be a functional member of society.
You're right man, the occasional drink and smoke just makes people worthless.

Marijuana is a psychotropic drug that alters the mind and lowers a person's ability to reason and make decisions. People who smoke Marijuana are more likely to commit crimes, lose their jobs, and lose IQ points (an average of 8 iq points if use begins during teen years).
Because prescription drugs and cellphone usage don't also lead to any of those things. But they are legal.
Marijuana's benefits by and large out weigh any negatives that can come with the use of it. Especially in the proper doses.
Just like during prohibition, marijuana being illegal makes it more likely that addicts don't seek treatment and increases the likelihood that they put themselves in dangerous situations to feed the addiction. So instead of actually fixing the problem of crime/addiction you are actually exacerbating the issue.

FTFY. Make hemp legal, keep weed illegal. Seems like a good compromise.

In a country founded on the concept of individual liberty, it’s a travesty that we legislate away an individual’s recreational options. Trump pushing to legalize would be both good political strategy and true to this country’s foundational roots

And a foolish risk politically. He doesn't need to decriminalize weed to win. If he wants to do that in his second term, fine. But don't give up grandma's reliable vote for a chance at her stoner grandson's unreliable one.

If you were to legalize weed in Southeastern States, you would get flooded with liberals, because those states would be the best places to grow weed.

Not a fan. LSU fans are a case study in poor judgement when inebriated. Personally, if I didn't think that 90 percent of humans were complete morons, I'd be for a free for all, but we've shown for thousands of years that the more freedom we have to pursue debauchery, the faster our society fails and turns into havens for pedophilia and genocide.

Actually, they didn’t. The 21st Amendment put quite a dent in their business.

So why do people lose their jobs when they get popped? Because it's shows poor judgment and lack of character.

You are aware that Christ’s first recorded miracle was changing water into wine, right?

Yes, but there wouldn't be a 21st amendment if it weren't for the progressive criminals (anarchists)

Yes. But if you want to cherry pick verses, be sure and find the ones that say its OK to get tanked, go to an LSU game and scream STTDB.
And you can't use the excuse that there was no clean, clear, cold water to drink as an alternative.
