Quite a sight seeing that massive ship pulled off the dock (with the Marine Band playing in the background).

He will get some credit, maybe more than we could ever imagine.
I have no idea how serious this ramped up democrat crisis really is, but when help shows up to fix things, it is remembered.
The mantra of never let a serious crisis go to waste, has been used against the right for far to long.
We have a man in office now that knows how to play their game and turn it against them.
My two favorites:
A) The night he had the media gather at the old DC Post Office (His new hotel), thinking Trump was was going to concede and give into demands that he should turn over his tax returns, only to turn it into an hours worth of free promotions for his new hotel.
B) This just happened yesterday, when he allowed 25-30 million dollars to the JFK Center For The Arts and appointed ten new members to the board.
New Members:
Donald Trump has appointed ten new members of the Kennedy Center’s board of trustees. The most high-profile among them are actor Jon Voight and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee.
Other appointees include Carl Lindner III, co-CEO of Ohio-based American Financial Group and Trump super-PAC donor; Kelly Roberts, a hotelier and onetime nominee to be the U.S. ambassador to Slovenia; Karen Tucker LeFrak, an author of children’s books set in museums and ballet and musical performances; Daryl Roth, producer of dozens of Broadway musicals, including Kinky Boots and the revival of The Normal Heart; Kelcy Warren, a billionaire and owner of Energy Transfer Partners; Heather Washburne, a GOP fundraiser; and Marc I. Stern, chairman of the TCW Group, an asset-management firm. Trump has re-appointed longtime arts philanthropist Adrienne Arsht, who already sits on the board, to another term.
I'm thinking this money may have to be spent, but it will not leak through the cracks into some democrat politicians hand,

I’m guessing a lot of it is regulation
Those House Dems always getting in the way of those executive branch agencies and departments!
For a president who campaigned on radically transforming the bureaucracy, he sure seems to run up against a lot of red tape.

are you under the impression that these ships aren't going to get to ny fast enough? they will be there before nyc hospitals even reach capacity.
why are you acting like this? Why are you quite literally unable to credit the president for ANYTHING? It's almost like it isn't within your dna.
It's sad.

Sorry for responding to the reason you gave for the timing. Next time I’ll pretend like you said something you didn’t, I guess.

So you are stating trump has not tried to follow through on that promise? Or are you mocking him for not being as effective at it as you think he should be? I know, because you’re super smart, you are trying to insult the man. You just don’t seem to be landing any punches.

Is it strange that these ships seem to take 2-3 weeks to prep?
Dude Marines and Sailors work 24/7 to load these behemoths. I know because I used to do this (longshoreman). How about a little faith and confidence in our military and Commander in Chief?

I never said regulations were the problem. I was responding to someone who claimed that too many regulations (in an executive agency/department) was the reason an action taken by the president was delayed. The only mocking was to think that someone else would be responsible for the regulations.
These are executive branch matters. The regs are promulgated by the agencies he is 100% in charge of. Either he’s done a good job draining the swamp or there are too many regulations. It can’t be both.

This particular ship was in dock for refitting/repairs and the Navy said it wouldn't be ready for a month.
Trump told them to get it done faster. They got it done in 4 days.

This makes me so damn proud...
From ready in a month to 4 days.
God bless our men and women in uniform.

This is one of his problems. He cares more about who gets credit than he does actually doing something.

In addition to all those millions the center just received they also got this bit of news:
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts informed members of the National Symphony Orchestra that they would no longer be paid just hours after President Trump signed a $25 million taxpayer bailout for the cultural center, according to an email obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
