What semi chips are we buying from china?
We import like 2% of chips and this place is melting down
And they now love Eric

And what is the % of chips that we import are from Chyna?

Not particularly sure this is true. I think he’s purposefully creating uncertainty for leverage. They’ve always preached he’s unhinged and will do whatever on a whim. I think he’s leaning into that a bit and also using it as a basis for bargaining
And for all we know companies have been negotiating with him, and have made concessions that makes him happy towards his end goal.
Just sitting back and watching how it all plays out.
Him going this kind of thing wasn't hard to think of. I mentioned the other day how I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually told our companies that they can write these taxes off. To many people on here act like they've never been apart of a business decision before.

Wtf does this have to do with giving China money back? Or letting their high tech industry off the hook?
The cult is strong with you.
Advice: Don't drink the kool-aid.

About 66%.
From mainland China or does that include Taiwan?

I’m sure this was all part of the plan.

I am not sure it is that high but at the very minimum 1/3rd of our chips come from China. China does not produce many high end chips that is more a Taiwan endeavor but they produce a massive percentage of lower tech chips. The average household is filled with lower tech chips running all manner of gadgets and appliances.

You obviously aren't intelligent enough to think this through.
By canceling the reciprocal tariffs on chips that the U.S. applies to chips from China, Trump believes it will result in China canceling the tariffs that China applies to chips made in the U.S. which are sold to China.
He's doing it to help U.S. chip makers maintain their Chinese markets.

No Kool aid being drank. Just not going to root for Chyna like some of y'all are doing. Calling people out for being in a cult when you do that isnt any better.
And the companies making the chips there are stuck for the time being, so perhaps they will do what they need to quicker. Short term concession to our companies isn't a concession to China.

They are all over in automobiles as well.
Something as simple as a power window switch has a chip in it.
China is a main supplier of the electronics used in the US auto industry.

Point out where someone is "rooting for China".

This may surprise you. Instead of begging people to research stuff for you, can easily spend a few minutes on google and find it yourself.

Read the board. Roger gets a chubby wanting to see Trump fail. Trump failing, is China winning. Rooting to get the "I told you so" is rooting for China.

Man he fricked up his tariff rollout pretty bad

You people can piss your panties like the fat vaginas your dads reared all you want, but being panicans over every move, before the game is over, just shows how weak you are.

Nah. Trump is panicking on every move. He’s just lucky to have a large amount of people like you that won’t criticize him and will carry the water for him
