Maybe not, but Republicans might need them in the midterms. If anything, he's helping Dems here.

And going back to the tea party those guys have had a stronghold on the republicans.. hopefully that grip loosens more each day

No he's not. The Koch brothers will continue to support candidates that further their ideals and business successes. They won't stop doing that just because Trump was a meanie pants on Twitter.

Trump knows that. He has nothing to lose by bashing them.

The issue is that their business ideals are not necessarily Republican, Conservative or in-line with Trump's plan. There is some overlap where they are in agreement, but not across the board.
